Air nozzle question....?
Hey guys,
on a JG M4, when the reciever upper/lower is apart, and you can see the air nozzle, should you not be able to push on the tip, and it is spring loaded? (i mean you can push it back ans it springs forward)?? mine is solid.....no movement. im thinking i may have assembled it wrong. thanks for now. ginnz. |

After assembled...but before it's fired even once afterwards...you should be able to push on it and it'll be springy.
Once it's been fired, the gears probably have the tappet plate pull [fully or partially] back, which in turn pulls the nozzle back....so it's not springy anymore. You shouldn't do it too much (especially if this is your 430+ whatever rifle)...but if you dry fire it you should see the nozzle move back and forth. On full auto, it might stop in different spots at the end of a burst....on semi, it should stop in about the same spot each time. NOTE: Dryfiring the mechbox runs the risk of breaking the mechbox shell...and then possibly stripping a bunch of stuff inside. |
