Vanaras 6.03mm precision barrels- experience?

Hi! I see RSOV has those cheap vanaras precision barrels for sale and I'm wondering if anybody has actually used them?
link: http://www.rsov.com/index.php?target...roduct_id=3273
I did some search on ASC and didnt find much. Yes, i know the price seems ridiculously low to expect something high-quality.

I am planning to use it in my ICS M4 to replace my current barrel.
thanks in advance

actually i found this topic: http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Va...#entry18025216
i guess i will give it a try.

ok, according to this russian review ( http://sk-prizrak.ru/publ/1-1-0-11 ) the vanaras barrels are... crap compared to the prometheus. i guess i got my answer.

Infected airsoft did a review on it a while ago.

Bottom line: you get what you pay for, the performance was worse than stock barrel

Interesting review from Infected Airsoft.

I got these. While I can't comment on their accuracy (If it can hit a man-sized target at 50 metres I'm happy anyway), the FPS increase on these are huge: When put in a A&K LR300, I have a ~30 FPS gain (390-420). When sawn down and put in a Masada ACR, I got a ~20 FPS increase (420-440+). This is gain from 6.08mm to 6.03mm.

I can probably do a grouping's test with my Masada tomorrow though just for the sake of it.

Setup:
Rifle: A&K Masada ACR fitted with Guarder clear Hop-up Bucking and Nub
Barrel length: 410mm (sawn down from 450mm)
Chrono: 400FPS with SRC .25g
Extra equipment setup:Huang 553 holosight and EOTech 4X magnifier, Bipod
Distance: ~53feet, enclosed wooden-fenced outdoor (minimal wind-effect but may still affect result)

I shot 10 BBs. The outlier on the right should be ignored, it looks like it could be due to slight shift in positioning, etc.

I tried my best to replicate the experiment done by Infected Airsoft, but don't have the proper knowledge to set the gun up properly for an accuracy test. The best I could do, was to use a 4X Magnifier sight, and try my best to make sure the reticule was centred at the same spot when I pull the trigger 2-3 times in rapid sucession on semi. It's not the perfect setup, but it should be good enough to give you an idea.

What I got:

I think by putting in an Element H-nub I might even be able to reduce the grouping even more, there is quite a bit of lateral spread.

I think the Vanaras barrel probably can't match the quality of the more expensive barrels, but is an extremely worthwhile upgrade if you're on a budget.
