Minimi Spring

Hi!
Questioning again...

A friend of mine has got a Minimi.
The FPS rate is...ridiculous (about 280).
So he wants to change the spring to get around 400 .

Can we use a "normal AEG spring" to do it?

Thanks in advance!!!

JR

He's in Spain according to his profile.

What brand of "minime" does your friend have? In most cases... yes, they use regular AEG springs.

PS: johjoh, your signature speaks utter crap.

Although 350-370 is considered a target velocity for outdoro play here, Thats only due to Canadian laws and field rules. Some places in the U.S. and asia have limits of over 500, some have limits of under 1 joule.

That being said, there is no ultimate FPS, and higher certainly isn't always better. I have an M90 spring in my G36 and it shoots about 310, and its more acurate then my 360/longer barrel M4.
