Question G&G m16 a3 carbine fps upgrade

I want to upgrade my gun, I have found the parts I want to get, but I would like somebody who knows more about this stuff than me to tell me what I need/if the stuff i have chosen is compatible with my gun.

The parts:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=2464
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=3602
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=5295

Also how would I rewire to the rear of the gearbox?

Well, first of all, i (and most other users here) like to buy from our local shop, Airsoftparts.ca. airsoftGI is great, but they are in the US, so shipping can be expensive, and take a long time

They have just about everything you need. now, you picked a new spring, a new complete JG mechbox, and a new hop-up.

New spring? really not necessary, stock G&Gs shoot about 360 FPS which is perfect for outdoor play.

Complete new JG mechbox? bad idea! JG are cheap chineese clones, granted, they are probably the best clones comming out of china, but they are still clones, the mechbox you have in you gun now will be much more solid and reliable.

new hop-up?
maybe a good idea, i have no issues with my G&G hop-up, but if your looking for more accuracy, it can be a good idea. I would recommend a prothemus or King Arms 1-piece metal hop up chamber.

Now, you say you want to upgrade your gun? What exactly are you looking for? more accuracy? higher rate of fire? please, let us know, and we will do our best to help you out!

Can i ask why?

Regardless, buy a new spring from airsoftparts.ca

Get a 100 or maybe a 110 spring.

Also, please take the time to fill out your location in your profile

I have done some research on a few different airsoft sites, and all the reviews are 5/5 for the JG gearbox

JG are clones of TM mechbox's.

They are okay, but they often advertise madly high FPS (the one you linked was an m130) and nothing else. Most new players assume that high FPS is the most important part of a gun. This is simply not true.

I'm not going to tell you how to spend you money, but you really don't need to increase the FPS of your gun, and a JG mechbox would be a defanite downgrade.

Some of the reviewers verified it at around 400fps though. Also I am upgrading fps because I want it to hurt more.

Again, but what you want, but if what you linked is 160 bucks, your essentially playing 160 bucks for things that will really not improve the performance of your gun.

What you could do to make your gun better for 160 bucks? tight bore barrel, prothemus hop-up, sorbo pad and a guarder clear hop-up rubber.

I'm not looking to get anything more than a 400fps upgrade, I am not going to get any other upgrades.

Buy a modify S110 spring from airsoftparts.ca for 12 bucks.

The game is about haveing fun mkeras2 if your in it just to hurt people anyone you play with will likely stop playing with you very quickly.. Also if your into hurting people paintball would be a better bet as 6m bb's don't hurt that much

lol I just got out of paintball because it hurt too much. jk i quit because it was too expensive and none of my friends played, which made it really boring. Yeah when I said I wanted to hurt more I more or less meant that I wanted to upgrade accuracy, and all I have right now is enough for a better hop-up and higher velocity.
