PGC Kimber Kit issue.

My TM MEU and PGC Kimber kit came in today and tried installing it, everything went incredibly quick and easy. Did the frame first because it is usually the harder piece to install. After finishing the frame, I moved onto the slide and got flying fucked in the ass.
The issue is that when I install the rear sights that went on perfectly and tried to install the BBU, it worked but didn't work on my frame.
It works well without my rear sight.
It works well with the stock slide.
I tried polish it with sandpaper and still didn't have much effect.
Now please help me out with this issue. Thanks.
I know I have to do some fitting but I don't know where.
I'll get some pics in a couple of mins.

Here's how it works without the rear sight (tape is to hold it in)

Here's the empty slide (black is stock)

With the rear sight

With the rear sight + BBU

Without the rear sight and with the BBU.

If you can see, without the rear sight the BBU sits perfectly lower than the one with rear sights.
I tried everything to try pushing it down but did not seem to work, I guess I have to do something instead but don't know what.

I used a Tanio Koba slide spacer to make it work well. The inside of the PGC slide isn't machined to accept the blowback too well, and as a result, it will cant and create a lot of friction against the frame when you tighten the blowback unit bolt that secures it to the slide.

The Tanio Koba slide spacer fixed the issues for me. I can't tell by your description if you're having the same issues I had.

That seems to be the same issue with Nova kit as well(which BTW, Nova kit comes with its own version of the TK spacer). Does the MEU have the same hammer "striker plate" as the the regular 1911? In Nova's case that piece needs to be modified because it also causes the BBU to sit too low.

I had to modify that plate on the Nova as well, which now causes firing issues, as the hammer does not reset on the sear properly. Seems like the hammer just isn't being pushed down far enough now...

And yes, the MEU has the same plate.

MEU fanatic here. planning to buy also a PGC Kimber MBK. is that encircled part that i need to cut part of the novak sight? doesn't the sight wobble without it? or if i just buy the TK spacer, there would be minimal fitment issues? BTW, i also bought an Army MEU, and the screw on the rear sights is actually functional. maybe if use that it will pull the blowback chamber up? TIA
