Shootsoft.ca 20 day delay WTF?

Hey guys,

I'm kinda blowing some steam here ....

I ordered a glock from shootsoft.ca a week ago and today I get an email response about my order saying that they delay 20 days before shipping out.

I thought that was some jibber jabber shit on the website but now that i got the email I don't think the owner is trying to pull a funny joke here.

So is this for real? do they seriously take a month to send out my order because of this bullshit claim of "high volume of sales"?

please for the love of god tell me that not every canadian website is doing this so i can just cancel my order and get my money back and buy it somewhere else. :smack::smack:

WTF

What's the problem?

They state this clearly on their website.

You placed the order with them and agreed to wait.

Wait.

EDIT: Also, the owner is very active on this forum.

Yeah when I read it at first I thought it was a joke, then figured it was for special items or when items aren't in stock.

but a month delay for absolutely no reason when the item is in stock?

They have to be able to speed this up.

Do all the websites have this ridiculous policy?

Get AV'd if you want to buy it. The retailers on here will ship much faster than them.

But it does clearly state, 20 business days ON ALL ORDERS. No exceptions. So don't go through with the order then complain about what you already agreed to.

No this is something that's unique to shootsoft...

No one really knows the reason why there's a 20 day wait... Alot of people speculate that they don't actually have anything in stock so they just order it then re-ship it to you... but no one knows for sure.

Even with high volumes of sales... there's no way it should take 20 days to wrap a box and drive to the post office.

what the f*** kind of joke is that anyways, damn
I'm sorry to say this, I don't know you
but that's not very smart

if you bought some sort of over-the-counter pharmeceutical would you think the side-effects are just jokes?

I guess what I should say w/ out being unneccessarily mean is, you should have THOUGHT that through

So you read the policy....yet are still surprised by this? Ever think about trying to CONTACT THE OWNER to clarify it for you?

Well I guess its true what they say. Common sense is no longer common.

They actually DON'T have anything (or not much) in stock. I ordered 2 G&G MP5 for friends thru them and it was clearly stated that he had to order them as needed.

It's understandable that not many retailers can keep 2-3 of every item in stock for such a small market like airsoft. I mean imagine buying 3 ABC guns and it ends up that they are not popular and you are stuck with them. Immediately your semester's profits are down the drain...

Read the fine prints, believe them and don't argue afterward.

Why would they write something like that if its a joke? That would be utterly stupid. They clearly state 20 days on all orders.

As Silverthorn said, they don't carry much stock.

Get AV'd if you want access to other retailers with stock.

I think you should wear a hat when you're out in the sun.
