ok i'm looking to get one of the following

Classic Army M15 A1 XM177 E2 (Metal Body)

or

C.A.S. Version G&G M4 CQB ADVANCED

or

ICS-141 M4 S.I.R. Retractable Stock
(WITH NEW CANADIAN TRANSPARENT TINTED RECEIVER DESIGN.)

which would be the best right out of the box?

The one with the metal body, CA M15.
Not just because of the metal body (which is a huge factor) but also because it would be higher quality.

I like my G&G CAS Version just fine, but even I know the CA would be much better. And more expensive...? Wouldn't it cost more than the G&G or ICS? Much more?

If the cost is not an issue, I would recommend spending the additional 50 dollars and purchase the Classic Army.

You'd save money in the long run with the CA. The $50 difference is easily covered in the upgrades to a metal body (+$200) not to mention the better internals. The only issue I'm aware of with CA's is they have(had) crappy pistons. If they still do, $20-25 fix.

Either buy a premade pack or make a custom pack.

8.4 V, Nunchuck design, 20 AWG wire, female deans connector and you're good to go.

This would most likely fit: http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/airsoft_SOC_LiPo.jpg

Something along those lines.

does anyone know "around" how many shots a 7.4v 800mAH li-po would get out of a stock AEG rifle?

also the 7.4v should be fine to run on stock internals?
