Issues with Hop unit
well I just put my mp5 back together , I rebuild de GB and its working perfectly the issue im having now is that the BBs are getting stuck in the hop chamber, and the gun shoots but only air comes out, and the bb is stuck in the chamber, I put some lube and it work thru the first magazine perfectly, but when I change mags, the same thing, so I don't know what this could be, I took apart the hop and put it together a few time and still the same..
I was thinking that it could be the back part of the bucking that has a lip and the BB's get stuck in the opening of the lip. but im not sure, I order a new bucking to see if that fixes the issue, I tried installing a guarder bucking I had laying around, but the thing did not budge, for some reason it was to big for the barrel and when I inserted in the chamber it got all mushed up, any help is welcome! |

Try different hop-up rubber... Systema would be a good place to start.

You're positive the hop unit is re-assembled correctly? There's a lever that pushes the hop nub up and down. You may have that lever in the wrong spot and is pushing down on the nub at the max setting all the time.

make sure the nub in the hop up is laying flat not standing on end.

yea the nub is not issue, i put the barrel together with the hop up unit and look inside and it looks good, the bucking comes up and down when i adjust it!, is there anyway it could be the lip at the end of the bucking that is jamming he bb? i order a G&P reinforce bucking are they any good?
