KJW Hi Capa

Hey guys,
Is the KJW Hi Capa http://www.007airsoft.com/products/p...ages/20078.jpg compatible with the TM Hi Capa? I'm looking at upgrading the barrel, hi flow valve and enhanced recoil hammer spring, etc.....
Thanks.

Upgraded recoil springs won't fit.

The spring guide bushing is made tapered inside and the space for the spring is made too short.

The hammer spring does fit however.

Hmm, I have a new recoil spring in mine.

Slipped in without a fuss.

Maybe it was designed for KJW Hi Capa specifically...I cant recall.

I have a 150% Guarder recoil spring set in my left hand an a KJW KP-05 in the right hand.

It just won't fit.

Also tried a 4.3 spring and I get the same issue.

Hmm.

I believe you, I'm just confused.

Oh well.

You seem more sure than me, so kain128, to be safe, lets say they dont fit.

I have even had fitment issues with the Guarder 150% in my TM Hicapa.

Mind you, it is with a SD slide.

The problem is probably that it's made by Guarder.
Lol.

I sell Element 150% recoil sets!
I can test it with my aftermarket metal slide if you want.

Would you? Even just measuring the OD. The OD on my guarder spring is significantly larger than the stock spring.

But if you would test it that would be epic. I would buy one of those fo sho, assuming they aren't as crappy as the guarder ones :P

Damn, I guess mine are just SLIGHTLY too thick for aftermarket spring guide bushing. It does fit in, but you can't compress the rod fully into the guide.

Can you measure the OD?

I have bored out the spring plug on mine a bit, so it might still work.
