Shot Show 2010
So the planets have finally aligned allowing me to attend Shot Show. I was wondering who else might be making the trip down to Vegas for the show. I will be staying at Circus Circus which has the cheapest rates by far.
If you have gone to Vegas before I am open for suggestions of things to do that arent gambeling. I plan to see bodies the exhibition and a cirque soliel show. For cirque soliel there are multiple shows anyone have any experiance with which might be better? I also plan to do some hiking in the grand canyon but thats all that is really planned. |

I would change hotels. My buddy stayed at circus circus last month. He said it was disgusting, roaches and all. There are other options for onlly a few dollars more. Not worth ruining your vacation just to save a few bucks.
On a lighter note... I think Russel Peters has a stint in Vegas. It's legal to drink publicly. If you're into CSI (show) they have an interesting exhibit there (last year anyways you'll have to confirm that). Last time i went they had two cirque shows. one of them was blah and the other very good (sorry i don't remember wich was wich). |

I'll be down all week in the Blue Force Gear booth.
I usually hit Vegas once or twice a year. Go to the forum shops in Ceasers, and Bellagio for dinner if you like high end. Hit Vince Neils tattoo shop if you want a tat. They aren't cheap but it's the experience. Got one of mine done there when I arrived early for the last Shot that was there. If I remember correctly it's Wild Bills on the strip that has $12.99 prime rib and $2 margaritas.

How are you guys getting down? I had tickets reserved for last year, but ended up not being able to go cuz of an exam, but this year looks pretty clear for me.

The accomodations dont bother me much I have been in the field for over 4 months total this year. Its better then sleeping in the front of a G wagon or a ditch. I plan to spend only sleeping hours in my hotel room. I did read very mixed reviews on the hotel though and appreciate the warning. The two shows for Cirque that looked interesting were KA and O. I might go put a few bullets down range while there. I will make sure to pop by the BFG booth and say hi.

Call up some of those "Full Service" girls who get to your room in 20 minutes or less.

If O is similar / the same to the toronto show OVO that'd be the good one.

i saw "O" in vegas and it was awesome. i also stayed in Sam's town hotel thats were the locals go to gamble. it was a very nice hotel and only like a 15 min drive if i remember correctly to the strip and because its not on the strip it was a little cheaper.

Pho @ Treasure Island was pretty good, around $16.00/head, Vietnamese food.
Buffets;Bellagio, Paris, and Toa Dai (@ Planet Hollywood shopping area). MGM buffet can be good but I found very inconsistent. I heard Bouchon @ The Venetian is a really good 4star restaurant. I can't remember the name but there is a sandwich shop/bakery in Paris that does really good and big sandwiches combo'd with some of their hearty soups and a drink, I think I last paid like $7-8 for the whole package. I basically have fun walking down the strip going into every hotel/casino and seeing what they offer. Been there 3x and I always find something new. I had wondered about The Gun Store but I went to Discount Firearms last time. They had a large selection of handgun rentals.
