Bizon PP-19?

Hey guys. This gun happens to be one of the sexiest sub machine guns that I've ever seen. It looks sort of like an AK too.




As you can see, it most certainly does look like an AK yet shorter, and with a weird Helical magazine.

The bizon pp-19 model 1, is around 660mm long.
The model 2 is 690mm long. (Both measurements include the stock.)

The Kraken AK47 (and most or all other AK's on the market,) are around 875mm. Obviously too long to be modded into a Bizon PP-19.

According to a website, the Kraken Kurz is 740mm long. Seems a little too long still, but do-able. (Can anyone verify that the Kraken Kurz is that long? Ive tried searching google, and the only website I get tells me its like 29 inches, which is 740mm-ish.)

Doesn't look to hard to modify a Kurz into a PP-19. You know, get rid of the full/solid stock, and get a funky looking one thats like the one on the PP-19. Change the foregrip, etc.

Problem is, the mag. The mag on the PP-19 is a Helical Mag, which I'm not even sure if it exists in airsoft. For this to be a PP-19, it needs a mag that is really similar like the one posted in the picture.

Any ideas? Or does a company already make a Bizon PP-19 Airsoft gun?

Just make sure to get a new mechbox, as I believe the Kurz's is plastic.

If thats true, I could wait for the Aftermath Kraken Socom. Its 730mm. (It already has the same stock as the Bizon PP-19. Meaning, all I'd need to mod is the mag and foregrip. Depending on price, ofcourse.)

The only thing I can remotely think for the mag, would be a P90 mag modded somehow?

as for the gun, shouldn't you start with a AK-74U? Nooblord has it right with the P90 mag thing and the shroud will have to be custom made. the stock and body and grip look like that of a AK-74U. if you are on a budget, get a Kalash one, and then upgrade the internals.

Why not use a AKS-74u? Look very similar just with the cylindrical magazine

I've seen this done a few times, but only once successfully (the rest petered out). The p90 mag is a new idea that should work great, if not find a small beta ak mag and see if that is doable to put a cylindical shroud overtop of. As for the gun itself, I've had some with plastic mechboxes and they faired pretty well. However you are in luck as I have a TM ak mechbox shell (Ver. 3 i believe) that I am not using. Full metal and should work perfectly with your kraken parts, PM me if your interested.

Whats the length of the AKS-74U?

I'm mostly doing this modification for looks rather than internals, so I'd rather spend as least money as I can. (Its more for a "Look what I have"/wall hanger. :P Thus why a cheap Kraken or something around that price range would work. )

EDIT: Thats a good idea. I could see if I could get a small lowcap mag, and just put a cylinder tube around it. It'd be the easy way out. :P

I dont follow you mitchell. Yes, I know I can spend a good amount of money and get a gun that will last me a long time. And heck, if I get a job before I start making this, then hell yea. I'll do that. Get a Kalash or something. (Which, would be a better idea to wait until a job than to start this now and then have a POS gun fall apart on me.)

The poster above my other post "Pounce-The-Jaguar", had a good idea. With the whole "Get a small lowcap and put it inside a PVC pipe" thing.

I mean that advice has been given to the extent that it pretty much can be. Your pretty much in uncharted waters. It's good you found something on your own though
