I have spent 8+ hours on google and numerous Airsoft sites looking for a matching picture and nothing and am kinda starting to get pissed off looking for it now. Closest thing I can find is an M4 for the matching body but look at the butt/stock or whatever it is called. Scratch M4 off the list I need to find a battery cover for this gun but not knowing what kind it is sort of creates a roadblock. Tnx for any help.

BTW I put this here because there are 21 people in here and only 3 in the Newbie Tank. Better chances of someone knowing in here.

its a walmart gun painted black, you won't be able to find any replacement parts for it. simply because its not 1:1 scale. as for the gun type, its a M4 with a M16 shorty stock. too bad its small and won't be anywhere near real scale.

Hey thats closer than anything I have found yet. Is the stock alone from the SR-16 or is that the whole gun? Looking at the link below I see mine has a different style of "Guard?" over the barrel between the front sight and magazine as well as mine also has a carry handle. (Unless all this stuff is interchangeable?? I just got this and know nothing about it)

Also looking down the page I see thats the kind of battery cover I need too except on mine the whole door slides off the gun and doesn't just have a little trap door in the middle.

And I have now just seen post 4. Thanks.

Seriously, use the edit button if you want to add something to your post.

And yes, looks like an SR16.

Airsoft rifles that are using a shorty full stock have the little door.

You probably will never be able to find replacement for that anywhere, since no one makes it.

And if you find one, it might cost you the same price as a new.

SR-16 is a real designation used by KAC (Knights Armament Company).. TM just borrowed it to replicate the gun properly.

And that looks like a cheapy to me.

Dude, matte paint next time, seriously...

Not every gun has a specific "name" or designation.

Ahh thanks for clearing that up for me. I don't really know much about real steel

I'm not familiar with that Wal-Mart gun, but check if the stock is removable, then take a picture of the end (If it's removable)

If its walmart-clearsoft, it will probably need some sanding to fit any parts.

But I'm not sure if the plastic would be able to withstand any sanding.

P.S Edit posts rather then reposting, makes the thread much cleaner.

I'm not sure a $30 USD stock + (likely $10-$20 shipping) is really worth it for a $75 clearsoft gun. This one looks similar, the stock may fit. Was it already painted when you bought it?

And that's why it was moved to the newbie tank. I guess $75 is around what it would have originally cost from Wal-Mart, you never get value from clearsoft from Wal-Mart or Canadian Tire anyway (unless it's the Crosman Marui-clone shotgun).

You probably have the clear version of some kind of DPMS SR16 knockoff (imagine something being worse than a DPMS SR16!). Take a picture of the stock tube with a ruler on it so people can tell if it's the proper size for a standard airsoft M4 or M16 stock.
