14.5" steel and aluminum outer barrel
Hey guys,
Im looking for two 14.5" outer barrels that comes apart in 2 pieces so that I can convert it to the full size M4 or just CQB. One of them has to be aluminum and the other has to be steel. Both of them has to have a very nice finish that looks extremely smooth (CNC i pressume). What would you recommend for the 14.5" steel? What would you recommend for the 14.5" aluminum? Thanks guys, I know you guys have much more experience than I do, so im banking in your expertise! Thanks |

The ones that I sell (Element) are two piece detachable and are very smooth, and smooth cut.

Any other opinions? I saw the Element one that was offered by Huang, and it was a bit scratched up.

Madbull makes good barrels. I've taken my M4 for walks on and not had any scratches to the barrel.

Steel is heavier and more stronger than aluminum.

if you're chinaman cheap (Im chinese) go with aluminium, if you cant hold your gun cause its too heavy go with aluminium

I like steel because of the finish and colour, makes it look more realistic. Also the threads would last longer than aluminum.

The ones I have are pure black with a very nice finish, and have precision cuts everywhere.

Thanks for all your replies. Im looking for BOTH an aluminum and steel (Dark grey, not too light like the Element brand) outer barrels. Both need to be:
1. adjustable between 10.5" to 14.5" so I can switch between CQB and full size M4. 2. 14mm CCW 3. Very smooth, preferably CNC. Here is what I mean when I say SMOOTH: STEEL STEEL ALUMINUM Im not a cheap china man, so im willing to spend some money for good outer barrels. I was looking at the madbull one but its 1 piece and also the G&P one but its 14mm CW, so they both dont fit my requirements. What is the highest quality brands u would recommend for aluminum AND steel outer barrels that kinda resemble the pics above? |

pretty much none.
G&P makes it but its CW Guarder makes it but quality makes me puke Airsoft Surgeon makes it but its for PTW Colt, Armalite, Bushmaster, DPMS, Troy etc makes it but its for AR-15 honestly, you need to be stop nit picky or just go with plastic/ aluminium barrel. Dytac makes really good looking aluminium ones |

Steel ftw, the finish is super sexy like on PTW's. RWC steel barrels for PTW were very nice also, check if they make them for regular AEG.
Be ready to spend around $150-$200 for a steel outer thats high quality and high finish. |
