Any reason(s) to keep a LNIB AEG box?
Asides from shipping an AEG off when and if I do sell it off in the future, are there any other reasons to keeping a box around? I do have access to rifle bags, and I can go buy cases easily.
I would assume that the inclusion of the original box in a sale of an AEG doesn't actually seem to make all that much of a price difference, though I have seen no evidence to back this up. Then again, there are hardly any used AEG's on the market that come with their original boxes. Any input? If so, respond ASAP... like within the next half hour lol. |

Don't mistake lnib with with the box theres a diffrence linib box means a gun that was plinked or gamed once and never used again with the box means i could be in any condition just not including the box

I never purchased a case or bag for my M16. I had a perfectly good form fitted styrofoam block and cardboard wrapping to take my gun to games. It is great for transportation (in the back of your vehicle) because the gun doesn't slide around inside the bag or case.

Hmm, okay. I'll take it if I can fit it in with all the other crap I should be getting with it.
Thanks. |

BTW, I have no idea what you're trying to say here, KoolAid. I understand that LIKE NEW is not BRAND NEW, if that's what you're trying to tell me. No matter, potential problem has had enough feedback to get my mind thinking on its own lol.

I doubt keeping the box with get much greater resale value unless you have an airsoft piece worthy of a collector. Let's say you have a TW SAA. You might want to keep the box since the buying audience for that is collectors too. Collectors have a tendency to want original packaging more than gamers. If you have a Army Works R17 I doubt the box means much to anyone other than storage. That being said, I have received amore than a few pm's on items I have sold that were about the box. |

When I get around to owning TM G17 you can have the box for free + actual CP shipping.

To me the inclusion of the original box is much like a very nice picture of the gun in the selling thread, as opposed to a picture of lower quality in either resolution or having to do with camera work skills. Both pictures are able to provide the same amount of detail about the condition of the gun, but one just looks nicer. It's just presentation.
