Solved - Please delete/move
I've looked through the forums and saw quite a few posts like this and one pretty much exactly like this but it was no help to me.
I am using duster gas in a KSC Cz75. I realize that it is very cold here and GBB's hardly work in the cold weather but after emptying the magazine the slide will not lock back. Could it possibly be that the duster gas can't push the slide back far enough to lock? Do I need to use propane? The gun has a plastic exterior, as some/many of you know, would propane be to harsh on the internals? Hope someone can help! Thanks! Last edited by Eul0gy; January 30th, 2010 at 17:54.. Hey there Eul0gy. You should try and shoot your gun in a warm environment like your house or something. If the problem still continues field strip your gun and exam an your slide catch. it may have a warn out spring or a broken spring. Could be a few other things too. Also propane is a stronger gas so it will cause more ware on your parts vs duster. I have an old hi-capa with a plastic slide and all its seen is propane and it doesn't have any problems. Though i'm sure some members will tell you to avoid propane with a plastic slides. There has been cases were slide fly off the gun because of propane.
