G36 question

yes Im looking for a gun lol, and yes im age verified and i have read the FAQ twice lol. ok so i have decided that i want a KWA G36C, my question is, which should i get? a regular one (something like 450-500 bucks) or just a cansoft one (370 at my local store, taxes included).
is it worth the 150 bucks more for the black one? because i would like to paint the gun in a near future, cansoft or not, so thats nor really a issue.

is there any other difference (like receiver strength) other than the color that justify the price difference?

thanks, and yeah my grammar is crap. :banghead:

if you don't care one way or the other, then the cansoft is perfectly fine, it's the exact same as all black just with a clear reciever.

Meh. For the G36 series it doesn't matter. Camo that bitch up and go game. Spend that extra $150 on mags.

Well, personal opinion, why go halfbreed if you don't need to? Heck, for $500 you could get yourself a Classic Army G36c which has excellent externals.

Then why get another G36?
There wont be much difference between 2 different brands of the same weapons except quality, which I would thing that CAs would be higher.

So to answer you original question, I would suggest spending the extra money on the "black" version for better quality.

Well, the C is the Carbine, the E is the full size one.

Completely disagree.

You're getting the same gun with the black version, just with a transparent lower.

OP, if a black lower is worth $150 to you, go ahead. If not, grab some Duracoat and enjoy $140 spending money.

Actually E is the export one
"G36" by itself with no suffix is the full length one

and +1 on the CA, your atleast guaranteed to have SOME kind of quality control on mainstream brands

Not hard at all. It would be a matter of taking it all apart, and painting the pieces.

They come apart fairly easy and nice as well.

While true, I have yet to see an export full size G36 with any other designation than "E". The OP said he had an E, an E is full sized. KE = export kurtz, never seen CE but I can assume it exists.

well i actually still have it, the only matter is that is somewhere in my old country lol, in a far future i would like to bring some of the parts of the gun (non restricted ones) and make a kind of hybrid (long hand guard with a silencer coming from the top rather than a barrel, or a G36c with a carry handle scope, who knows the sky is the limit lol) .

nice to know, but I'm kind of afraid of doing that by my self, may be someone can do it in a auto-shop. btw i would like to make some fake trade marks with a brush, since the space is completely empty, any thoughts about that ? is it possible? I'm kind of an artist lol.

Note: I did the skull of my avatar and my signature using a wacom tablet and MS paint.
