I'm going to buy the these two replacement parts for my we 1911

Now I know these aren't the strongest metal but is there 3rd party parts that are much better suitable for a we 1911?

I believe the slide and its internals are TM compatible, but the frame isn't for WE 1911s. So a NOVA bushing and spring plug should fit. You might want to double check that before you spend any money though!

WE 1911 bushings are NOT TM compatible.

From what I've heard, WE 1911's can fit WA or real steel barrel bushings.

I do not know which spring plugs it can take, though.

Like Illusion said, the TM bushing and cap are NOT compatible with WE.

Western Arms bushings fit perfectly (it was from an older non-SCW gun, I don't know if SCW bushings are identical or not). I was also able to install a real steel bushing but the inner diameter of the bushing was a fraction of a mm too narrow for the outer barrel (if you know what you're doing you can grind/dremel it, otherwise take the long and painful road and do it by hand with sandpaper).

Recoil spring cap... real one might fit, I can't find mine. The WA one is a bit too small. The stock WE one should be fine though, the cap should NOT be under any major stress (it gets transferred to the bushing).

Important part follows:
Now, looking at the damage your gun suffered it looks like you're using an older generation WE 1911 and did not modify the recoil spring guide. As is posted in several threads about the WE 1911s, the original spring guide is slightly too long which results in the tip of it slamming into the front of the spring cap: this in turn breaks the ring at the base of the WE spring cap and subsequently breaks the bushing.

In order to prevent this from happening again, you need to shorten the spring guide by about 1mm (as you can see in the pic, the one I modified was only a bit more than 0.5mm shorter and it was sufficient).

The problem isn't that the stock WE bushing isn't solid, it's that it's getting hammered by the spring guide everytime the gun cycles.

You don't have to buy one. Just file your spring guide down a few millimeters. Its easier, you don't have to pay for a replacement part, nor do you have to wait for WE to ship you a new one.

Actually he didnt post it here but I saw his ad in the Wanted section, his front end blew out (snapped bushing), so he does need a replacement.

His cap is likely damaged too if that happened (ring around the base snapped off); it may still be useable, but for the price of those parts (you're paying for shipping anyway) he might as well get it.

Ah, okay. I missed that. Might as well get everything while you're at it, right? Good luck, WMK.

What do you mean "45"? 45mm? For total length? Its more than you needed, but I don't think there'll be any major adverse effect. Just try to bevel the top edge a bit so there's no sharp corner to catch in the spring, or bad things will start happening.

Do you mean 45 degree angle?

1) you're in Florida. You probably have more gun shops in your state than in all of Canada.

2) AFAIK the ONLY RS part that will fit is the bushing, and the stock outer barrel will NOT work with it (the diameter is literally microns too thick and rubs/jams inside the bushing during cycling): I was able to use a Guarder chamber/outer barrel (made for TM 1911) successfully with the RS bushing, although the inside of the slide needed minor trimming.
