Well L96

Is it true that the rage of this gun is the same as an AEG? I have a hard time believing that with the right BB's and scope adjustment, that it wont shoot further than a stock AEG.
Is this gun more accurate?
What BB weight would be the best for the best balance between distance and accuracy?

Getting it to shoot far is one thing. Shooting straight is another.

Getting more distance out of a sniper rifle is a mix between the FPS, Quality of the hopup and the hopups adjustment. The Well l96 stock doesn't really cut it much stock so an AEG will probably easily out do it simply with accuracy through volume. Doesn't take much to lift your AEG up to lob those BB's an extra dozen feet or so.

You're not so much of an Airsoft pro are ya? :P. I kid.

Don't expect much from chinese clone shit.

So in terms of single shot, is the L96 more accurate? To be honest, Ive never owned a gun better than a Kraken so I don't have much experience with quality guns. Will the L96 outperform the Kraken in terms of accuracy/distance?

lol adjusting the scope will not affect how far it shoots, the only thing it has over the kraken is its fps, but fps does not equal range or accuracy.

to make it truly advantageous over aeg's you will need to spend alot, try using the search function and you will find tons of info on this particular gun and what it needs to make it a solid performer

also, get av'd if you are 18

Sorry, the scope adjustment thing I meant about accuracy (the shooters accuracy not the guns). But a stock L96 with the right BB's must be more accurate than a Kraken, am I right?

lol a kraken is not the yardstick to measure your typical AEG by, try getting out to a game and checking out what real airsoft looks like.

and before any kraken/broxa fanboys jump in, I own a fucking kraken so stfu

do your research

Listen, I’m going to save you a lot of flaming from other members. As well as the repetitive advice you will receive.
Most everyone on this forum will tell you to get “Age verified” and buy from the classifieds.
You cannot import any guns from websites outside of Canada.
Airsoft is a 18+ sport
Sniping is not for newbies (many reasons as to why)
If you are underage please do not try to circumvent the system in place, its there for a reason.
Do not play in your backyard/forest or anything of the like. Only play on official fields.
Please read the FAQ’s

I used to have a screenshot of the asc forum page with the "new thread" button crossed out and the search box circled, that was my way of helping but it almost always got deleted whenever I posted it hehe

I see the attitude ASC has towards starters now...

I was just trying to get the help and user experience I needed to assist me in making a cost efficient and well informed decision that will be necessary in order for me to gain experience in the world of airsoft and share in on the love and passion for the ever-growing sport. I just wanted to join in on the joy and love that people seem to have towards airsoft.

To explain my passion I've written a poem:

My love for you is too immense to measure
And your touch how it gives me oh so much pleasure
You literally take my breath away
In my life you just must always stay

The emotions you stir are of ardent love
With a devotion that comes from the stars above
And our passion we share unites us as one
Fulfilling the desires is just so much fun

I have given you the key to my frail heart
With the dream that we will never part
As I write these words I hope you will heed
I pray that I shall be all that you need
Forever in my heart...airsoft.

Im sorry to have bothered you fine people with my redundant questions. I shall bother you no more with my antics and leave you in peace to converse with the other elites about the peasant folk like me.
Discrimination...it is everywhere. Even on airsoft forums. I am discriminated over my age and maturity to join the world of airsoft. My love and pride for this pastime is thrown away like an emtpy Mcdonalds cup, into the wretched and aching world where all that is to love is paintball. My heart cries out in sorrow over the exclusion and isolation I feel. And all I wanted was some acceptance and encouragement.

I guess I shall just take my Crosman Pulse M70 and play pretend war in my room with until it runs out of the AA's it runs on. Then I will have nothing. Nothing more to hold onto and pull the trigger in a rush of adrenaline. Then its up to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to satisfy my thirst for action and teamwork. But I wont have a TSD L96 to use. I will have to settle for an Intervention or the Barrett.

So please ASC, have so consideration and respect towards your fellow airsofters, regardless of their experience.
Because in the end, we are all just airsofters looking to have some fun in life.

So this is my goodbye. Farewell ASC. And farewell airsoft. Over and out.

you asked for advice and we provided it.
you asked about accuracy and the other thread answered it.
you asked for an opinion and one was given.

now because you have found out we enforce a 18+ rule and a no noob snipers rule you decide to leave and blame it on us? you claimed to be mature but blaming us for answering your questions contradicts that

No I'm just kidding, it was a joke. I appreciate all of the helpful comments. I guess I will look into getting age verified and buying an AEG since the advantages of a sniper rifle are too few for someone who is still new to the sport.
